Basler boost Series

A Camera Series with Two Product Families – boost V and boost R

 

The boost series combines the latest CMOS sensor technology with high bandwidth and all the advantages of the CoaXPress 2.0 standard. Boost your performance – we are heading into new galaxies, lifting your application to a new price-performance level.

These high-performance cameras provide excellent image quality at high data rates thanks to CoaXPress 2.0 and modern CMOS sensors.

They are ideal for applications requiring high data rates, high resolutions, and where the camera’s image data must cover greater distances, for example:

  • 3D AOI/SPI inspection
  • Battery cell production

The CoaXPress 2.0 standard offers a very attractive, simple, and—above all—reliable alternative for applications previously implemented with options like Camera Link or CoaXPress 1.1. boost V cameras with high resolutions and frame rates
  • Six camera models with the latest Gpixel sensors (GSPRINT4521, GMAX0505, GMAX3265), monochrome and color options, and four channels (4 x CXP-12) for high-performance applications
  • Resolutions of 21, 25, and 65 MP at frame rates up to 230 fps—2x the resolution or frame rate compared with boost R, resulting in even better detection of the smallest defects or objects
  • Particularly small form factor: 65 x 65 x 73 mm
  • Special computer vision feature set, including: Flat Field Correction, Tap Geometry Sorting, color features, and Dual ROI
  • Matching 4-channel CXP-12 interface card available for integration with pylon software for plug-and-play performance
  • Compatible with Basler C-mount and F-mount lenses (C-mount and F-mount adapters pre-installed in each case)
  • Matching cables: Basler Standard cables (up to 30 meters), drag chain-suitable Premium cables, USB 2.0 cable for firmware updates, pigtail cable for signal control, and power supply cable
  • Durable Basler Standard Lights (plug-and-play)
  • Separate pins for power supply, triggering, and external cooling, all with matching cables
  • Equipped with a suitable cooling solution
  • GenTL compatibility
  • Designed for challenging applications such as: inspecting flat panel displays, wafers, solar modules, and battery cells
  • Particularly well suited for 3D AOI/SPI applications, with the GSPRINT4521 sensor replacing the CMV12000 sensor

boost R cameras for high-speed vision systems

  • 24 single- and dual-channel boost R models in 80 x 80 x 45 mm format
  • Broad range of Sony sensors from 2nd (Pregius) to 4th generation (Pregius S) and XGS series sensors from onsemi
  • Resolutions from 2.8 to 45 MP and frame rates up to 400 fps
  • Perfectly matching CXP-12 interface cards with 1,2, and 4 channels are easily connected with pylon software for plug-and-play performance
  • Scalable in resolution and bandwidth for multi-board and multi-camera systems
  • CXP-12 evaluation kits for each camera simplify integration
  • C, F, and M42 mount lenses available with adapter
  • Wide range of data, trigger, and power cables, including cables suitable for drag chains (data cables up to 30 m)
  • Powerful computer vision feature set, including: Sequencer and Static Defect Pixel Correction
