It’s fast, easy to set up and simple to use across all platforms with minimal training being required.
SurfaceFX Feature Extraction Technology
SurfaceFX feature extraction technology uses lighting and software algorithms to create high contrast images that enhances 3 dimensional features on a part. It removes noise and clutter from the surface background and isolates features and defects that are recessed or embossed on parts highlighting surface defects such as chips, dents, wrinkles, punctures and tears as well as identifying stamped text and codes. Once a clear image is attained, In-Sight vision tools such as OCRMax, PatMax Redline, Blob and InspectEdge can perform their inspections.
Calibrated 3D laser profilers

The sensors are factory calibrated and include industry-leading Cognex machine vision software with powerful 2D and 3D toolsets and a compact, IP65-rated design that withstands even the harshest factory environments. The DS1000 3D sensor is factory-calibrated to provide real units of measurement with micron-level accuracy, making 3D applications easier to understand and deploy.
